"The Heart of Jesus"

"I have had the privilege of traveling to Paris twice, both of which times I got to admire my favorite Parisian building, La Basilique du Sacré Coeur, or The Basilica of the Sacred Heart. It sits upon a hilltop for all to see. I did not previously realize the meaning of its name until researching for this drawing. It’s speaking about the heart of Jesus!

Whether you are a believer in Jesus or not, the beauty of this church can be appreciated. It is evident in its intricate detailing and architecture. Its beauty is revealed in how it stands in the world.

The same can be said about those who know Christ. The Holy Spirit is a gift given to any who choose to follow Jesus, and it’s a gift that looks like this: “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5: 22-23). Do you want more of this in your life? The answer is Jesus!"
