"A friend saw this painting on my easel recently and complimented it, to which I thanked her and told her it was not quite done. It's missing a foot! She hadn't noticed and her attention was totally focused on the beauty adorning the edges of the canvas.

While I have elected to declare this work complete, it is not finished and I have chosen to leave it that way. In a world driven by the pursuit of perfection, what freedom and rest comes from intentionally choosing the opposite!"
